This Warehouse Lead is expected to be a strategic thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Warehouse Lead Job Responsibilities:

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and Picking operations processes
• Assist in managing the reception of goods that will be stored in the warehouse.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Sort the items placing them in the appropriate and safe locations, considering temperature, size, weight, available space.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by delegating housekeeping duties; inspecting equipment; issuing requisitions for repair or replacement.
• Assert the warehouse security, as well as security of a loading dock and the adjacent areas, preventing theft.
• Ensure the preparation of shipments and sort orders for the outgoing items.
• Maintain and follow the safety protocols for workers and equipment.
• Communicate with external partners to determine the incoming and outgoing times of the inbound shipments.
