Role Background 

The People team at RELEX currently consists of 60+ professionals located in several countries globally, the majority in Helsinki. To reach our growth plans and to ensure we serve our RELEXians to the best possible level, we are now looking for a full-time Senior People Operations Specialist to join our People team in Stockholm Sweden and take care of our Scandinavian countries across 3 locations, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo.  

As our Senior People Operations Specialist, you’ll be working at the very heart of our People Team, working to support and partner with our countries and functions in a highly engaged environment. You will have ownership of the entire employee lifecycle, including HR data management and being the payroll partner for our external payroll vendor, as well as being there for our colleagues in Sweden, Denmark and Norway, from the very moment they onboard.

What you'll be doing 

  • Full employee life cycle support, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.   
  • Supporting our team leads and colleagues in Sweden, Denmark and Norway with all their people-related topics, as e.g. time-off, benefits, compensation and others. 
  • Responsible for Payroll input preparation for all three countries. 
  • HR system (now Sympa, later on this year Workday) updates and associated employee data quality management.   
  • Writing and maintaining people policies, team lead guides and training sessions in Scandinavia.   
  • Handling employee escalation cases independently. 

 

What you'll bring to the table: 

  • You have a solid background of People Operations experience in Sweden and preferably also in Norway and Denmark, ideally also in a multi-country, global environment.   
  • You have previously worked closely with HR systems, people policies (creation and development), as well as compensation and benefits related topics.  
  • You have hands-on experience with the payroll cycle.   
  • You have a strong understanding of all core people processes, with a view of what works and what doesn’t.  
  • You enjoy taking ownership and solving problems proactively. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and can-do attitude combined with networking skills, assertiveness, and the willingness to take initiative. 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills 
  • Full working fluency in English and Swedish.
