As a Senior BI Analyst at MyHeritage, you will play a key role in using data to provide useful insights that guide business strategies and projects.

With tens of millions of people who use our product suite in 42 languages, your role at MyHeritage will have a direct and immediate impact on our global user base.

In this role, you will develop intricate models, design captivating dashboards, and conduct statistical and predictive analyses to foster ongoing company-wide improvement and innovation.

We are seeking a candidate who can analyze data to discover valuable insights that will guide strategic decisions and improve customer experiences. This requires a combination of technical skills and a deep understanding of analytics.

What you’ll do

• Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to interpret complex data sets.
• Derive actionable insights and recommendations from data to support strategic decision making.
• Develop and maintain complex data models to improve data accuracy, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
• Conduct statistical analyses and build predictive models to forecast business trends and outcomes.
• Design and execute A/B testing methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

What you bring

Technical skills:

• Expert level in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Tableau/Looker — proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., AirFlow, Informatica, DBT, Talend) for data integration and automation.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar role in B2C companies.
• Demonstrated success in delivering impactful insights and solutions based on data analysis.
• Strong background in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and communicate insights from data.
• Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
• Experience with Python for statistical analysis and modeling — an advantage.
