Head Shipper

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for scheduling and coordinating daily product shipments and completing shipping and receiving procedures from start to finish
• Supervise warehouse department needs, coordinate with customer service department when needed, and daily task planning
• Verify end-of-day goods issued and ensure stock accuracy
• Perform timely and accurate product shipping procedures, including pulling and packing of orders and processing in shipping computer.
• Train staff on job duties and new processes
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and equipment use
• Responsible for selecting and working with parcel carriers and ensure proper set up of trucks
• Communicate with customs brokers and transport companies as needed
• Perform regular cycle counting and product inventory in accordance with company policy.

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Proficient in computer usage
• High School graduation or equivalent experience required.
• Warehouse experience
• Ability to lift 30lbs
• Ability to perform mathematical quotations related to inventory control.
• Ability to work well with others as a team.

Working Environment:

• Warehouse environment, Mississauga ON Canada
• Typical standard business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
