Head - Mobile Development (iOS Games)

Job Description

MadRat Games is looking for someone to lead the Mobile Development arm. The focus would be on developing exciting iOS games and managing a team of 3-5 developers.

Roles & Responsibilties :

• Actively involved with development of end to end iOS apps.
• Continuously keeping an eye on the latest cutting edge technologies and leveraging these in one's own and the team’s work as necessary.

Desired Skills:

• Four or more years of experience on iOS development.
• At least two popular shipped iOS titles in the App Store
• Experience with developing applications with intensive application logic / game logic is a plus.
• Experience of having managed a team of developers is a plus.
• Knowledge of Cocoa Touch and UIKit
• Fluency in Objective-C and intimate knowledge of XCode and the iOS SDK
• Knowledge of deeper iOS concepts like CFNetwork, QuartzCore would be a plus
• Have a general strong penchant for all things technology whether it be a brand new app from OMGPOP or the release of AMQP 1.1
• Knowledge of SQL Lite DB is a plus
• Work closely with designers to create exciting user experiences
• Actively communicating with fellow developers in order to synchronize work and making sure that developers understand each other's work
• Taking responsibility and ownership in the team's work
