The Account Manager is a key member of the IWG account team, carrying responsibility for client service delivery, operational excellence, innovation and project management.  

The role will encompass the management and delivery of ITG’s service, the overall quality control of outputs, WIP management, project management, cost control and estimation, project briefing and support for the customer, weekly reporting and first line support for ITG’s technology platform.

The role features a mixture of marketing projects from artwork, digital, technology automation and print. This would be achieved through the support of a content creation studio at ITG HQ, Birmingham, UK and our tech-based studio in the Netherlands.

This Account Manager role will sit within the Service Marketing team within the account structure and will be part of a team of other account managers, channel experts and production operatives. You will report into the Senior Account Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at IWG.
  • Ensure that customer service levels are always above the agreed SLAs.
  • Create and manage the daily WIP in conjunction with the ITG studio production team to ensure all customer deadlines are achieved.
  • Ensure accurate capturing, estimating, invoicing and reporting of project costs.
  • Support customer in the briefing process to ensure accurate and clear briefing into ITG production team to increase speed to market and reduce customer cost.
  • Take key responsibility for QC on all outputs from ITG production team.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate daily delivery of the ITG services provided to the customer.

Operational delivery:

  • Ensure that both speed to market and overall costs are being constantly challenged and improved.
  • Ensure that all projects have critical paths created and that these are managed in conjunction with customer marketing teams.
  • Ensure that ITG are exceeding all KPI’s for the customer.
  • Manage print projects through to delivery.
  • Maximise profitability for ITG. Ensure you are aware of the role the revenue and profit play in the overall financial health of the account and wider business.

Customer Communications:

  • Ensure that all customer communications are understood, actioned and communicated internally to the ITG production team.
  • Appreciate on this account you will be dealing with different countries, different cultures and non-English native speaking clients so clear and strong communication is essential.
  • Ensure you integrate into the customer marketing teams delivering seamless process and customer service experience.

MRM Platform:

  • Ensure that the system is being utilised effectively by all teams within regional markets and that the information is always completely up to date.
  • Provide first line support for the customer on any matters concern ITG’s MRM platform.

Requirements

  • Multi-channel marketing experience is essential
  • Fluent English speaker (other languages are a bonus)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Agency marketing expertise
  • Understanding of print techniques and application for B2B purposes
  • Highly motivated and ambitious client handling skills
  • Strong planning and workload balancing skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to deliver brief to studio teams
  • Understanding of writing a content artwork or digital brief and outputs needed
  • Ability to create and provide detailed operational reports when requested
