Role Overview

As a Zuora Developer at JFrog, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling subscription billing, payments, and order-to-revenue solutions using Zuora Billing and Payments. You will work closely with Finance, RevOps, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to support JFrog’s global SaaS monetization and revenue operations.

This role requires strong Zuora Billing expertise, hands-on API and workflow customization, and experience integrating Zuora with Salesforce, NetSuite, and other financial systems.

What You’ll Be Working On (Responsibilities)

Zuora Billing & Subscription Management

• Configure and customize Zuora Billing, including:
• Product Catalog
• Rate Plans & pricing models
• Subscriptions & order actions
• Invoicing, taxation, and bill runs
• Manage subscription lifecycle events such as amendments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and chargebacks.
• Implement and support Zuora Orders and Orders API for scalable order-to-revenue processing.

Payments & Financial Operations

• Design and implement payment solutions using:
• Credit Cards, ACH, Direct Debit
• Alternate Payment Methods (APMs)
• Work with payment gateways, country-specific compliance requirements, and network tokenization.
• Support refunds, failed payments, dunning, and reconciliation flows.

Customization & Automation

• Build and maintain Zuora Workflows, notifications, and custom objects.
  
  
• Use Zuora APIs and ZOQL for integrations, automation, reporting, and data extraction.
• Customize invoice and billing document templates to align with branding and customer needs.

Integrations & Data

• Integrate Zuora with:
• Salesforce (CPQ, Q2C flows)
• NetSuite / Revenue systems

Workato

• Support data migration, cleansing, and transformation activities.
• Ensure data accuracy across billing, payments, and revenue reporting systems.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Partner with Finance, RevOps, Sales Ops, and Engineering teams to optimize billing and revenue workflows.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and follow JFrog’s governance and security standards.
• Lead technical discussions, solution workshops, and design walkthroughs with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver sustainable fixes.
  
  

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years tech experience with 2+years of hands-on experience with Zuora Billing in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of:
• Zuora Product Catalog
• Subscriptions & order actions
• Billing, invoicing, payments, and notifications
• Experience customizing Zuora using:
• Zuora Workflows
• Zuora REST APIs
• ZOQL
  
  
• Solid understanding of the Zuora Business Object Model.
• Proven experience implementing or supporting Zuora Billing for at least one enterprise SaaS company.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
  
  

Good to Have

• Experience with Salesforce, especially CPQ / Quote-to-Cash integrations.
• Experience integrating Zuora with NetSuite or other ERP systems through Workato integration.
• Knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) finance processes.
• Exposure to Zuora Revenue.
• Experience with data migration, conversion, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft).

NOTE: We are located in Bangalore (Bellandur) and we follow a hybrid work model. Minimum 3 (fixed) days work from office is a mandatory.
