Responsibilities:
Script Writing (Primary Focus)
- Write compelling, educational scripts for tutorial-style YouTube videos
- Craft strong hooks that stop the scroll and boost retention
- Structure scripts with clear narrative flow, pacing, and engagement points
- Ensure scripts are conversational, easy to follow, and audience-focused
- Deliver a consistent number of scripts per week/month (TBC)
Content Demonstration
- Record screen-share walkthroughs to support your scripts
- Create clear, well-paced visual demonstrations aligned with the script narrative
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Review YouTube analytics to identify what performs best
- Analyze audience retention and drop-off points
- Apply insights to continuously improve script structure and engagement
Content Strategy & Ideation
- Propose new video ideas based on audience interests and trends
- Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth
- Stay up to date with YouTube trends and best practices
- Contribute to overall channel growth and content strategy
Requirements
- Excellent English writing skills with strong grammar and storytelling ability
- Proven experience writing YouTube or video-based content (portfolio required)
- Ability to write authentic, human content without AI tools
- Strong understanding of YouTube retention, pacing, and viewer psychology
- Excellent research skills and ability to simplify complex topics
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Availability for 1–2 hours overlap with US EST timezone
- Nice-to-Have
- Experience with YouTube analytics (YouTube Studio, TubeBuddy, VidIQ)
- Screen recording experience (Loom, OBS, Camtasia, etc.)
- Background in tutorial or educational content
- Familiarity with a specific niche (to be confirmed)
- Basic video editing knowledge
