Workshop Technician

We are expanding the technical team!

We are seeking a Workshop Technician for our new facilities at CCB, Ågotnes to support the operational and project delivery in the Atlantic region. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient service out to our offshore projects. You will collaborate with a team of experts and contributing to the success of DOF. Effective communication and coordination skills are essential as you will be working closely with the ROV team offshore, project management, sale/tender team, client and external service providers and vendors related to subsea operations, repair and maintenance.

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Control of incoming and outgoing tooling and equipment
• Maintain, refurbish and prepare subsea tooling
• Inspection & testing of tooling
• Repair and maintenance of subsea equipment
• Stocktaking and inventory control of Tooling, Equipment, Global ROV system spares and consumables
• Maintaining good housekeeping practices in all areas of workshop

Requirements

• High focus on HSEQ
• Technical education within one of the following subjects - Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics or Mechanics (Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.)
• Technical knowledge of subsea equipment and tooling
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Experience with maintenance system is advantageous
• Good knowledge in English, verbally and in writing
• Travel activity must be expected
