The Opportunity

Requirements

MUST BE LOCATED IN CHICAGO & WILLING TO GO TO THE OFFICE 3 DAYS PER WEEK

This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our workplace systems, including Microsoft Office 365 applications, content storage and management tools, chat, collaboration tools, video/phone conferencing, meeting room technology.

  • Manage and maintain the organization's workplace technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workplace systems, minimizing downtime and disruption to users.
  • Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions, such as Microsoft Office 365, and similar collaboration tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that support the organization's goals and enhance the employee experience.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices related to workplace technology.

What you’ll be working on

Required Experience:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Workplace Technology systems engineering or a similar role.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of video conferencing systems, such as Microsoft Teams Rooms devices.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and AWS.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Network+, are a plus.

  • Direct Reports: N/A
  • Cross-functional Partners: Provide end-user support and training on workplace technologies, ensuring employees can effectively utilize these resources.
  • Customers and/or 3rd Party Partners: Collaborate with 3rd party partners to identify and implement technology solutions that support the organizations goals and enhance the employee experience.
