Job Description
As the Workplace Operations Associate, you will be the backbone of our physical office environment in Chippendale, Sydney. This hands-on role ensures our workspace is safe, efficient, and well-maintained. You will be on the ground helping facilitate building operations, manage logistics, and provide crucial support to the team at our Chippo HQ.
You will…
- Daily Office Operations: Oversee the daily office set-up, opening/closing procedures, and building access to ensure the space is ready for the team
- Maintenance & Hygiene: Coordinate with cleaners and trades to ensure a safe, hygienic, and well-maintained workspace.
- Safety Coordination: Help maintain workplace health and safety compliance.
- Stock Management: Manage levels and procurement for office, kitchen, and stationery supplies.
- Logistics & Mail: Handle incoming mail and parcels, and assist with company merchandise stock management.
- Request Management: Use JIRA to action and resolve workplace help desk requests quickly.

- Customer Service Focused: You have a strong background in customer service (retail, hospitality, or front-of-house) and take pride in providing a high-quality employee experience.
- A Proactive Problem Solver: You have the practical ability to resolve issues quickly and minimise disruption in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-Oriented: You are someone who takes pride in creating a safe, functional, and well-organised office environment.
- Hands-on & Solutions-Focused: You are comfortable with operational work and enjoy being on your feet rather than behind a desk all day.
- Physical Readiness: You are capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and carrying boxes and supplies to restock office and kitchen areas.
