Your mission

Reporting into the Production team, you will support the development and optimisation of our manufacturing environment by designing and implementing practical engineering solutions on the shop floor. This includes creating tools, fixtures, and layouts that directly improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of production.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop specialised tools, jigs, and fixtures using CAD to support production activities
  • Create functional prototypes and production aids using 3D printing and modern manufacturing methods
  • Support the optimisation of production lines, including workstation layouts and process improvements
  • Identify bottlenecks on the shop floor and develop practical, independent solutions
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure solutions are fit for real-world use

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or a similar field
  • Solid foundation in 3D modelling, ideally with CATIA V5 or comparable tools
  • Hands-on mindset with interest or experience in 3D printing and production environments
  • Basic understanding of Lean principles, especially 5S, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Proactive and independent working style, with a strong problem-solving mindset
