Working Student Operational Intelligence & Automation
TLDR
Own projects from end to end, utilize AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency, and drive impactful stakeholder communication for business decisions.
- Own Projects End-to-End: Take full responsibility for your initiatives - from scoping and data extraction to model-building, stakeholder alignment, and final rollout within the Ops team. You define the roadmap and drive it to completion.
- Lead Stakeholder Communication: Be the connective tissue between data and decision-making. You will structure and lead regular business reviews with Operations Managers and senior leadership, translating complex analyses into clear narratives and concrete recommendations.
- Drive Partner Performance Reviews: Own the cadence of performance reviews with internal and external partners. You don't just present numbers - you frame the conversation, address service-level gaps, and hold the room accountable for follow-through.
- Scale with AI & Automation: Develop services and leverage AI-driven workflows to eliminate manual reporting and scale operational processes - with a clear eye on where automation creates the most leverage.
- Deep-Dive Analysis: Use BigQuery (SQL) to navigate complex operational datasets and uncover the "why" behind inefficiencies. Your analysis is the foundation every project is built on.
- Empower with Data: Build and maintain high-impact dashboards and ad-hoc reports that give Operations Managers the intelligence they need to run hubs effectively.
- Project Management Mindset: You are comfortable owning a project from first principles to final delivery. You set timelines, manage expectations, and communicate proactively - without needing to be asked.
- Strong Communicator: You can walk a Hub Manager and a C-level executive through the same analysis and make both feel informed and confident. Written, verbal, and visual - your communication is always purposeful.
- Analytical Rigor: Currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics) with a strong foundation in BigQuery (SQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for analysis, visualization, and automation.
- Statistical Curiosity: A genuine interest in statistical testing and the ability to interpret results in a way that drives real business decisions - not just academic conclusions.
- Business Acumen: You connect a line of code to a real-world outcome. Good analysis, in your mind, is analysis that leads to faster decisions and better operations.
- Ownership: You proactively identify gaps and opportunities. You don't wait for a task list - you build one
