R&D Focus (70%)

  • Design and execute the development of a novel bioanalytical method under expert guidance
  • Analyze dried blood samples using our GC-MS setup
  • Perform sample preparation, including extraction, protein precipitation, and concentration steps for efficient analyte recovery
  • Optimize mass spectrometry parameters to clinical standards
  • Conduct method validation aligned with EMA & FDA guidelines
  • Collaborate with clinical partners for real-world sample validation
  • Support integration of new analytical methods into operational workflows
  • Document findings with precision and contribute to internal reports

Operational Support (30%)

  • Support the management of analytical method development workflows, ensuring timelines, milestones, and documentation align with regulatory and internal quality standards
  • Create and maintain detailed SOPs, validation plans, and technical documentation in close collaboration with QA and lab teams
  • Perform statistical analysis to support method validation, reproducibility checks, and performance monitoring
  • Help coordinate between scientific, regulatory, and product teams to ensure smooth handover from R&D to operational implementation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes related to lab-to-launch transitions
  •  
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC-MS)
  • Prior laboratory experience is preferred, including familiarity with common lab equipment and techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and scientific databases is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen interest in scientific research.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English and/or German.
