Working Student - dltHub Education

About dlthub

dltHub is built on dlt, the most widely adopted open-source Python library for data loading with ~4 Million monthly downloads. We are building the next generation of AI-native data tooling on top of our strong OSS foundation.

We move and iterate fast, and ship with a strong bias toward experimentation, automation and user-centric AI workflows. We’re a highly dynamic, fast-moving team founded by experienced data and ML engineers, with roots in Berlin and a growing presence in the US.

Founded by experienced data and ML engineers, we're backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Foundation Capital, Dig Ventures,  and technical founders from Hugging Face, Instanta, Matillion, Miro, MotherDuck, DataDog, Mode, LanceDB and Rasa. Our team is driven by clear values: we speak with courage, build what matters, automate relentlessly, show up with energy, deliver on commitments, and win together.

🚀 About the Role

As a Working Student in the Go-To-Market team at dltHub, your primary mission is to support user acquisition by helping demonstrate, explain, and communicate the value of dlt to data scientists. You will contribute to educational and technical content that shows how dlt fits into real-world data workflows, helping users understand not just what dlt does, but why it matters.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, education, and communication. You will operate in a fast-moving startup environment, collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and GTM, and learn how developer-focused products are grown and adopted.

🗂️ Key Responsibilities

    • Support the Go-To-Market team with activities focused on demonstrating, educating, and communicating the value of dlt to drive user acquisition.
    • Create technical tutorials, demos, and educational content that show how data scientists can use dlt in real-world workflows.
    • Contribute to educational curricula, guides, and walkthroughs for new and existing users.
    • Support partner communication and help organize educational events, workshops, or community initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to share user feedback and improve dlt for data scientists.
    • Take initiative on well-scoped tasks, learn new tools and technologies, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.

The number of Python users increases by millions every year. The vast majority of these people use Python as a tool to solve problems at work. Our mission is to make Python practitioners autonomous when they create and use datasets in their organizations. For this end, we are building data load tool (dlt), an open source Python library, for them. They use dlt in their Python scripts to turn messy, unstructured data into regularly updated datasets. It enables them to create highly scalable, easy-to-maintain, straightforward-to-deploy data pipelines without having to wait for help from a data engineer. We are dedicated to keeping dlt an open source project surrounded by a vibrant, engaged community. To make this sustainable, dltHub stewards dlt while also offering additional software and services that generate revenue (e.g. like GitHub does with Git).dltHub is based in Berlin and New York City. It was founded by machine learning and data veterans. We are backed by Dig Ventures and many technical founders from companies such as Huggingface, Rasa, Instana, Miro, and Matillion.
