Job Teaser

We are looking for a working student to support our IT team. The main focus is structuring internal knowledge and thereby laying the foundation for our future AI knowledge base.

You will work closely with our IT team, but also cross-functionally, and build a central knowledge platform from scattered information. You ensure that our content is easy to find and use - for both people and AI.

In addition, you will support our IT team operationally in a cloud-only environment - from handling small requests from colleagues to recurring administrative tasks.

What you can expect

  • Re-structuring our Notion workspace: consolidating pages, building an archive structure, and establishing naming and organizational logic

  • Creating the foundation for our AI knowledge base: classifying, tagging, and meaningfully linking content so our AI can build on it later

  • Co-developing standards and guidelines in Notion: documenting and applying conventions for pages, databases, and properties

  • Supporting day-to-day IT operations in a cloud-only environment (e.g. account and license management, documenting setups, simple troubleshooting tasks)

  • Working with InfoSec, IT, and other teams to understand and implement requirements for structure, access, and content

What you bring to the table

  • Enrolled student, e.g. in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Data/Information Management, or a comparable field of study

  • Very good English skills; good German skills are an advantage

  • Strong affinity for tools and structure—ideally, you already have experience with Notion or similar knowledge-management / collaboration tools

  • Enjoyment in turning chaos into structure and documenting things clearly

  • Interest in IT and cloud topics (SaaS tools, identities, permissions, security basics)

  • Reliable, independent, and detail-oriented working style

  • Availability of 15–20 hours per week, more during semester breaks if desired

  • Willingness to regularly work with the team in the Stuttgart or Berlin office

What you will learn with us

  • How to structure content so it can be efficiently used by people and AI

  • Hands-on experience in a cloud-only IT environment (SaaS, identity & access, documentation, processes)

  • How InfoSec, IT, and business teams collaborate to build a scalable knowledge and documentation system

  • Practical experience in a dynamic scale-up environment with short decision-making paths

What we offer you

  • Work mode: We’re remote-first, giving you flexibility to work from home. At the same time, we deeply value the power of in-person collaboration. Depending on the role, you’ll join occasional team events, workshops, or meetings in our Berlin or Stuttgart offices - always with plenty of notice. The exact balance will be discussed during your interview.
  • Work-Life-Balance: We don't want you to grow roots to your desk chair. That's why we cover the costs of your E-Gym-Wellpass membership and offer job bike leasing.
  • Celebrating success: Expect highly motivated and committed people in a relaxed working atmosphere.
  • Be part of something bigger: You actively shape Flip in your role. Along the way, you are an enabler of the rapid growth process of a young tech company and grow towards your goals, fun is guaranteed.
  • Happy to be a Flipster: Stay tuned for regular team events and culture days that bring us together as Flipsters.
  • Working abroad: At Flip you can also work abroad in the European Union. Let's talk about remote work in the interview.

At Flip, everyone is welcome - no matter what gender you identify as or how old you are. Sexual identity, origin, religion, world view and disabilities do not influence your potential job at Flip. The most important thing is that YOU fit in!
