As a Workday Financials Principal Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in Financial Data Model (FDM), Financial Accounting, Budgets, Banking & Settlements to help our clients optimize their financial processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance Workday Financials solutions that meet our clients' unique business needs.
Responsibilities Include
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial requirements and business objectives.
- Design and implement Workday Financials solutions, focusing on FDM, Financial Accounting, Budgets, and Banking & Settlements.
- Conduct system configurations and integrations to streamline financial processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of Workday Financials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Financials applications.
- Stay current with Workday updates and best practices, providing thought leadership and guidance to clients.
Qualifications Include
- Certified Workday Financials Consultant with hands-on experience leading, implementing, and supporting Workday Financials solutions.
- Strong expertise in Financial Data Model (FDM), Financial Accounting, Consolidations, Budgets, Banking, & Settlements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting is a plus.

Workday Financials Certified with implementor access.
- Experience implementing Workday FIN in Higher Education and/or Public Sector (Government), strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences, both internal and external
Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
• Base Salary Range is $135,000 to $185,000 plus 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
*During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.

• Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations
