Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical HR Systems Analyst to support a critical HR integration project. This role focuses on the end-to-end testing and validation of Workday integrations, with a heavy emphasis on Payroll and Benefits. You will be responsible for not just executing scripts, but actively identifying failure scenarios, troubleshooting complex data discrepancies, and managing business interactions to ensure a seamless go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

·         End-to-End Testing: Execute comprehensive integration test scripts, specifically targeting benefits administration, 401k, arrears, and retroactive file processing.

·         Failure Scenario Analysis: Proactively identify potential system breaking points. Test failure scenarios, analyze root causes of errors, and implement required adjustments to integration logic or data mapping.

·         Data Staging & Validation: Update and stage complex data records within Workday to simulate real-world testing environments. Validate data flow accuracy between Workday and external vendor systems.

·         Technical Troubleshooting: Run and monitor inbound/outbound integrations; interpret vendor file specifications to resolve transmission or formatting errors.

·         Reporting & Analytics: Develop advanced workbooks in Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, complex formulas) to perform data reconciliation and audit test results.

·         Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between HR, IT, and external implementation partners. Clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical business owners.

Required Qualifications:

·         Workday Expertise: Proven experience with Workday data management and integration testing (EIB, Core Connectors, or Document Transformation).

·         Payroll & Benefits Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR functional areas, including compensation, benefits structures, and payroll processing cycles.

·         Advanced Data Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Google Sheets for high-volume data validation and analysis.

·         Systems Administration: Experience in system admin tasks, including documenting test cases and maintaining audit trails of system changes.

·         Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to manage business interactions and present findings to project leadership.

Preferred Skills:

·         Experience with Regression Testing and integration error-handling techniques.

·         Prior experience in a consulting or high-growth environment undergoing an HRIS implementation.

·         Familiarity with interpreting complex vendor file specifications.
