WordPress Developer

Job Title:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain functional and visually appealing websites for our company. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, specializing in the WordPress ecosystem, and be passionate about creating high-performance, secure, and user-friendly web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage websites using WordPress.

- Customize and maintain existing WordPress themes and plugins.

- Ensure website performance, speed, and security.

- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality websites.

- Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot issues.

- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, updates, and best practices.

- Optimize websites for SEO and responsive design.

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.

- Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development

- Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

- Familiarity with SEO best practices.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team.

- Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce solutions.

- Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).

- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrations.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

- Required Experience: 3 years of professional web development experience, specifically with WordPress.

Skills (Bonus):

- Knowledge of server management (e.g., cPanel, command line, cloud hosting).

- Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, npm scripts).

- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
