What You ‘ll Be Doing

  • Elicit and analyze customer operational and mission requirements, translate stakeholders needs to measurable system and technical requirements
  • Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) on wireless systems as products, for tactical communication systems (land, naval, air), missile data links and satellite systems ground-up development and manufacturing
  • Define and manage Functional, Logical and Physical architecture models and interfaces for wireless systems -
  • Technical management of unit electronics design, prototyping, integration and testing/verification activities over the complete system engineering lifecycle
  • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments and design-to-cost evaluations
  • Cooperate with defense customers for functional and operational feedback loops
  • Preparation of system documentation

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • M.Sc. in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
  • Comprehensive systems engineering experience in wireless communications or electronic systems including:

System-level architecture design and requirements engineering/ Operational concept (CONOPS) development and alignment with system design / Hands-on involvement in system integration, test, and verification across full product lifecycle

  •  Familiarity with PHY-layer and RF engineering, including: Electronics design / RF front-end design and integration
  • Strong grasp of wireless standards, modulation techniques, and link budget analysis

Desired:

  • Familiarity with multi-domain design in wireless R&D with emphasis on: Electronics design for Baseband layer – digital and RF layer – analog sections /Joint development for FPGA/HDL and embedded software for wireless PHY
  • Experience in integration, testing and verification of communication or electronics systems
  • Experience in technical management for communications or electronics systems
