Job Title: Wireless Engineer

Location: Remote

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Wireless Engineer with strong expertise in Juniper Mist Wireless solutions to support a global migration project from Cisco wireless infrastructure to Juniper Mist. The resource will be involved in planning, deployment, troubleshooting, and supporting wireless operations during and post migration.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and execution of a global wireless migration from Cisco to Juniper Mist.
Support configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Juniper Mist Access Points and wireless controllers.
Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure seamless rollout across global sites.
Maintain detailed documentation of wireless network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Provide Tier 1–2 support for wireless network issues during and after the migration.
Participate in testing and validation of wireless designs, hardware, and connectivity performance.
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards throughout the migration process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7–12 years of hands-on experience in wireless network engineering.
Working knowledge of Juniper Mist wireless solutions and related tools.
Basic experience with Cisco networking technologies (IOS / NX-OS).
Basic experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC).
Basic familiarity with Arista EOS and network devices.
Strong understanding of wireless networking concepts including RF fundamentals and WLAN design.
Experience with wireless monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible / Python scripting.
Experience in enterprise-scale wireless migrations or refresh projects.
Certifications such as CWNA / JNCIA / Mist AI certifications will be an added advantage.

Recruiter Notes (Must Check):

Candidate should have direct Juniper Mist experience (mandatory/preferred strongly).
Migration experience from Cisco wireless environment is a big plus.
Strong troubleshooting and global enterprise exposure preferred.
