- You are responsible for ensuring that our internal development infrastructure runs smoothly (CI/CD systems, SCM Git and artifact repositories such as Nexus, code analysis tools such as SonarQube, monitoring systems).
- You operate and further develop our cloud infrastructure in AWS and advise our software architects on the selection of suitable AWS services for new projects.
- You will design and implement scalable cloud architectures based on current best practices.
- You will manage our DevOps platform, including Kubernetes, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and the administration of database infrastructures (AWS RDS and Oracle).
- You will ensure the secure and stable operation of the infrastructure through regular maintenance (e.g., patches and security updates).
- You will monitor our systems, proactively investigate and resolve incidents (monitoring & troubleshooting).
- You will ensure compliance with compliance and security standards throughout the infrastructure.
- You will further expand GitOps approaches to infrastructure automation and continuously improve our DevOps processes.
Expectations – the experience you need
- At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps/cloud engineering
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, and repository management (Nexus)
- Team player qualities and an open and communicative nature with an independent and conscientious approach to work and a consulting mindset
- High standards for structured work and quality results
- Solid understanding of AI and its possible applications in everyday work
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
