What you’ll do

 

  • Provide technical support for Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to Windows systems.
  • Perform system upgrades and patches to ensure security and optimal performance.
  • Maintain and manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user accounts.
  • Collaborate with team members to support network and server infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and implement performance-tuning measures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of technology policies and procedures.
  • Document technical processes and create user guides for common issues.
  • Provide end-user training and support for Windows applications and tools.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Utilize VMware technologies to manage and optimize virtualized environments.

 

What’s REQUIRED

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a support engineer.
  • Experience with VMware technologies, such asVMware vSphere or ESXi.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and services, such as DNS, DHCP, or TCP/IP.
  • Experience with cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
