Right now, we’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a fluent Welsh-speaking Classroom-Based Youth Support Worker to join one of our wonderful partner secondary schools in Cardiff.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be providing in-class support to learners, helping them engage with lessons, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.

Think of yourself as the friendly, reliable face who keeps learners motivated, supported, and ready to succeed!

Your main responsibilities will include:
✅ Supporting students one-to-one and in small groups during lessons
✅ Encouraging participation, confidence, and positive behaviour
✅ Assisting teachers with classroom activities and inclusive learning
✅ Building positive relationships and acting as a role model
✅ Supporting individual learning and well-being needs
✅ Ensuring pupil well-being and safeguarding at all times

What We’re Looking For

Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written) – this role is all about supporting Welsh-medium learning
Friendly, confident, and adaptable
Great communication and people skills
A positive, proactive attitude and love for working with young people
Experience in schools or youth settings is ideal (but we’ll support you if you’re new to it!)
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Eligible to work in the UK
