We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. In this role, you will perform hand welding operations on a wide range of metals for complex precision assemblies. You will utilize your expertise in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding across various materials. The ideal candidate should be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and possess problem-solving skills while being able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel or sheet metal.
- Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with ASME codes and standards.
- Safely operate small overhead cranes to move materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of welding experience across multiple materials.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding with strong process knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machine operation documents.
- Sheet metal weld/fab experience
- Familiarity with short run/prototype projects and large parts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently
- Experience using basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
- Welding certification is a plus.
