Welder / Finisher – Aluminum & Stainless
Pay Range: $22–$24 per hour (Based on experience and qualifications)
1st shift: Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM with occasional Saturday work required

Position Summary
This position focuses on TIG welding and finishing aluminum and stainless steel components, primarily handrails and related metal assemblies. The role requires a strong attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to meet quality standards in a production-driven shop environment.
Core Duties
Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel components, producing clean, consistent welds.
Grind, blend, and finish welded parts using angle grinders and finishing tools to meet appearance and specification requirements.
Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as cold saws, band saws, pipe notchers, and grinders.
Use fixtures, jigs, welding torches, and hand tools to properly fit and assemble parts prior to welding.
Safely move materials using overhead lifting devices, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
Complete assigned work efficiently while meeting production goals established by shop leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven TIG welding experience on aluminum and stainless steel materials.
Ability to read and understand safety procedures, work instructions, manuals, and shop documentation.
Comfortable working with fractions, basic math, and simple geometry for layout and measurement.
Experience using tape measures, hand tools, and fabrication equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while exercising good judgment.

Work is performed indoors with exposure to welding fumes, dust, noise, moving machinery, and electrical hazards.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear, and appropriate work clothing.
Schedule is typically weekday mornings, with flexibility required for overtime or weekend work as needed.
