Welder / Finisher – Aluminum & Stainless Pay Range: $22–$24 per hour (Based on experience and qualifications) 1st shift: Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM with occasional Saturday work required Location: Hanover, PA Position Summary This position focuses on TIG welding and finishing aluminum and stainless steel components, primarily handrails and related metal assemblies. The role requires a strong attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to meet quality standards in a production-driven shop environment. Core Duties
  • Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel components, producing clean, consistent welds.
  • Grind, blend, and finish welded parts using angle grinders and finishing tools to meet appearance and specification requirements.
  • Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as cold saws, band saws, pipe notchers, and grinders.
  • Use fixtures, jigs, welding torches, and hand tools to properly fit and assemble parts prior to welding.
  • Safely move materials using overhead lifting devices, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Complete assigned work efficiently while meeting production goals established by shop leadership.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven TIG welding experience on aluminum and stainless steel materials.
  • Ability to read and understand safety procedures, work instructions, manuals, and shop documentation.
  • Comfortable working with fractions, basic math, and simple geometry for layout and measurement.
  • Experience using tape measures, hand tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while exercising good judgment.
