Xometry is seeking a Website QA/QC Junior Specialist to join our team and help ensure the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and usability across our websites and digital experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for testing website functionality, reviewing layout and design alignment with brand guidelines, validating content accuracy, and identifying bugs or inconsistencies before deployment. You’ll collaborate with developers, designers, and content teams to maintain a seamless, reliable, and visually consistent user experience across all Xometry web properties.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual and automated testing of website pages, interactive components, and user flows to ensure proper functionality across devices, screen sizes, and browsers.
  • Verify design and layout accuracy against UX/UI mockups, ensuring consistency in fonts, colors, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
  • Review and validate web content, including text, images, metadata, and links, for accuracy, formatting, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Identify, document, and track issues, bugs, and visual inconsistencies using established QA tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Collaborate with web developers, designers, and content managers to communicate defects and confirm successful fixes.
  • Support regression and pre-release testing for new features, campaigns, and website updates.
  • Perform basic accessibility and SEO checks, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Maintain QA documentation such as test cases, test plans, and reports to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in monitoring website performance and overall user experience to proactively flag issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in website QA, QC, or digital content review, with a strong focus on WordPress-based sites.
  • Hands-on experience using tools such as WordPress, Lighthouse, Semrush, Figma, and the Gutenberg editor.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals 
  • Proven ability to identify both functional and visual issues across browsers and devices, ensuring responsive and consistent user experiences.
  • Familiarity with QA or issue-tracking platforms (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and an eye for design accuracy.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Fluent English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automated testing or browser-based testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and SEO optimization best practices.
  • Understanding of analytics or tagging validation (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
  • Experience working within a CMS (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, Drupal).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Previous experience in a SaaS, tech, or e-commerce environment.
