Summary of the Role:

The Website Manager (based in Finland) is responsible for ensuring M-Files delivers a best-in-class, conversion-focused digital experience across all global regions. This role blends web strategy with hands-on execution to optimize site functionality, technical infrastructure, analytics, privacy compliance and user experience. As the owner of M-Files.com, you will lead the ongoing evolution of our web ecosystem, driving innovation, improving performance, managing our integrated tech stack, and ensuring our digital presence aligns with goals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Website Operations & Technical Management

  • Oversee day-to-day development, maintenance, and performance of the global website, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and seamless user experiences.
  • Manage and optimize the full digital tech stack, including plugins, integrations, forms, cookies, tracking, and tag management systems.
  • Lead governance and implementation of tag management to ensure reliable data collection aligned with privacy and analytics standards.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues while managing QA, debugging, and incident response.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, WCAG, and global privacy requirements in partnership with Legal and Security teams.


Website Performance, UX & Experimentation

  • Monitor site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and performance metrics, driving continuous optimization to improve UX and conversions.
  • Manage A/B and split testing to refine user flows, messaging, and conversion rates.
  • Partner with design and content teams to build and iterate on templates.
  • Leverage heatmaps, session recordings, and behavioral analytics to identify friction points and inform UX enhancements.
  • Reduce tech debt through auditing, consolidation, archiving, and improvements to templates and site architecture.


Digital Strategy & Project Management

  • Evaluate competitor websites to identify opportunities in UX and technology.
  • Conduct user research to optimize buyer journeys and improve conversion paths.
  • Manage localization workflows and ensure consistency across all global domains.
  • Lead or support site redesigns, migrations, and new feature implementations.
  • Partner with SEO stakeholders to improve technical SEO, site health, crawlability, indexing, schema, metadata, internal linking, and content hygiene.


Website Analytics & Privacy

  • Oversee cookie consent systems, data governance, and data collection policies to ensure global privacy compliance.
  • Maintain governance frameworks for analytics setup, event naming, tracking consistency, and documentation.
  • Partner with Security and Legal to assess third-party tools and platform risks.
  • Manage analytics infrastructure across GA4, GTM, Search Console, and related tools.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports on site performance, user behavior, attribution, and conversions.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive pipeline growth, campaign effectiveness, and improved user journeys.

Requirements

Who you are/Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

  • 5-7 years managing enterprise-level websites, preferably in WordPress environments.
  • Experience working with global domains, multilingual sites and cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RegEx.
  • Expertise in multi-screen and browser testing, responsive usability standards.
  • Deep understanding of WCAG accessibility, Core Web Vitals, and modern performance optimization.

Analytics and SEO:

  • Adept in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
  • Well-versed in SEO best practices.
  • Strong expertise with tag management (GTM) and tracking frameworks.
  • Comfortable analyzing data to extract insights and guide optimization strategies.

Strategic & Operational Skills

  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to manage complex and competing priorities while coordinate stakeholders.

Tools:

  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Clarity is a plus.
  • Experience with CRO tools (e.g., Hotjar, Clarity, Optimizely, VWO) is a plus.
