Web Product Owner (Delivery Focus)

We’re looking for a delivery-focused Product Owner to embed directly within a web engineering team and help turn priorities into shipped outcomes.

This is a hands-on role where you sit with developers and designers day-to-day, keep work flowing, remove ambiguity, and make sure the team is always working on the most valuable thing next. You’ll own the delivery plan, clarify requirements early, manage dependencies, and keep stakeholders aligned as work progresses.

You’re not here to write strategy decks, you’re here to help a web team deliver high-quality digital experiences, consistently and predictably.

You’ll collaborate across time zones and locations, with occasional travel to Australia (0–15%) depending on project and client needs.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

Embed with a web delivery team and act as the day-to-day owner of delivery priorities

Break down business goals into clear, actionable backlog items that developers can confidently deliver

Own sprint and short-term delivery planning, keeping work focused, sequenced, and achievable

Actively manage dependencies, risks, and blockers, resolving issues before they slow the team

Ensure the team has everything needed to deliver: requirements, designs, decisions, access, and context

Balance incoming requests with delivery capacity, helping stakeholders understand trade-offs and timelines

Review delivered work, gather feedback, and feed learnings into upcoming iterations

Keep stakeholders regularly informed on progress, changes, and delivery outcomes

What You Bring

• Experience working with web or digital product teams in a Product Owner, Delivery Lead, or Business Analyst role
• Strong understanding of web delivery workflows (frontend, backend, APIs, UX/UI collaboration)
• Clear, structured thinking — you know how to turn ambiguity into executable plans
• A delivery-first mindset: pragmatic, outcome-driven, and comfortable making trade-offs
• Confident communicator across developers, designers, and non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar
• Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments without losing momentum
• Strong experience owning products that include both web-based user interfaces and API-driven backend services
• Ability to define and prioritize requirements for web features, API endpoints, data contracts, and integrations
• Comfortable collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure frontend–backend consistency and feasibility

Nice to Have

• Experience working with large Australian retailers and companies in eCommerce
• Visa or permission to travel to Australia.

Compensation

• The maximum monthly gross salary for this position is 95 million VND. Final offers will be based on experience and alignment with the role's requirements.
