Web Developer

Job Overview:

As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Drupal-based websites and tools. You will be part of a global marketing team and will be working with agency and internal stakeholders to implement customized solutions as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of Drupal websites: Ownership, development, and maintenance of responsive dynamic websites using Drupal 8/9/10.

• Custom module development: Develop custom Drupal modules according to need and requirement of internal stakeholders.

• Theme integration and customization: Customize and extend themes by using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Database management: Managing and optimizing Drupal databases for best performance and bug-free working.

• Troubleshooting and debugging: Fixing issues related to Drupal core, modules, and third-party integrations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, high-performing websites with internal stakeholders and agencies.

 • Code reviews: Review the existing codes, find improvement areas, and help establish best practices for the company.

 • Documentation: Unit tests and maintaining clear documentation for the code you develop.

 • Ticketing: Solve all the tickets raised for updates, new requirements, editing the website and web related systems.

• Drupal updates and security patches: Ensure that all websites of the website and web tools are updated according to new versions and security patches provided.

• Performance optimization: Monitor site performance to implement improvements that enhance loading times and end-user experience.

• Analytics: Analyzing the effectiveness of the website with analytics reports and actionable insight to reach set KPIs.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Drupal (Drupal 8/9/10 experience preferred).

• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with Drupal theming and module development.
• Experience with Drupal performance optimization and debugging.
• Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of APIs and integration with third-party services.
• Experience with Drupal configurations, workflows, and content management.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting services (e.g., Acquia).
• Understanding of web accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other web development frameworks and technologies
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration.
• Contribution to the Drupal community (modules, themes, forums).
