Employee retirement results in our search for a new hire who will process warrants and perform varied secretarial and administrative functions to assist with the efficient daily operation of the Sheriff's Office. Essential duties include checking answering machine and jail list for up-to-date information pertaining to warrants; entering warrants into CLEAN and NCIC portals and removing those that have been served or expired; searching CLEAN and NCIC and other resources for addresses and other warrants active elsewhere; running criminal history checks on subjects; processing billing on daily basis and at month-end; answering inquiries; supporting gun permit process as needed; and maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements
Qualified applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED; possess CLEAN/NCIC completion certificate at hire or meet requirements to be certified within 90 days of placement into the position and be recertified annually; previous experience in an office environment; English fluency; effective interpersonal relations; attention to detail and accuracy; computer literacy; and demonstrated experience setting schedules and meeting deadlines.
