Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Warfighter Integration Officer at Ramstein AFB Germany. This position will provide support to Space Systems Center (SSC) Warfighter Integration Office via emplacement at the US Space Forces in Europe-Africa (SPACEFOREUR-AF) HQ with experienced planning, organizing, directing Space Operations and DoD Acquisitions with vast, in-depth technical knowledge of space capabilities and systems. Contractor will be the Space Systems Command (SSC) liaison to the U.S. Space Forces Europe-Africa in support of Service Component, supported Combatant Commands (CCMDs), and SSC acquisition/development in support of joint warfighter needs.
This position, in coordination with the Warfighter Integration Office (WIO) Lead, will provide and manage internal/external communications and functional/technical program requirements to meet current and emerging warfighter needs. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the effective application of processes in the execution and delivery of SSC projects and programs in support of EUCOM and AFRICOM capability requirements.
Place of Performance: This is a full-time position located in Ramstein AFB Germany, within Government facilities at the Space Component in within Collateral and TS//SCI SAP located areas.
This position includes $6000 relocation assistance and $1500 per month housing allowance.
What you will be doing:
Interface with CCMD staffs to enhance operational utility of SSC capabilities and resolve capability gaps.
Provide awareness of SSC organizations, processes, policies and current/future capabilities, and coordinate across the SSC enterprise for specific RFIs
Provide technical expertise in support of future capability planning and advocacy, including Integrated Priority List, Unfunded Requirement, and Issue Paper development
Provide technical expertise in support of deliberate and crisis operational planning, including CONOP, CONEMP, C2, and TCPED plan development
Identify technical, strategy, policy and process shortfalls limiting operational utility of SSC capabilities
Support identification of SSC system enhancement and Quick Reaction Capability options, including materiel, non-materiel and commercial solutions, to fill urgent gaps
Coordinate actions within CCMD HQs to expedite and enhance operational employment of SSC capabilities
Interface with SSC program offices and senior leaders to enhance operational utility of SSC capabilities and resolve gaps.
Provide awareness of CCMD organizations, processes, policies and OPLANs, and coordinate across the CCMD for specific RFIs
Communicate CCMD immediate and long-term operational priorities, including specific concerns, issues and shortfalls regarding SSC capabilities
Identify technical, strategy, policy and process shortfalls limiting operational utility of SSC capabilities
Support identification of SSC system enhancement and Quick Reaction Capability options, including materiel, non-materiel and commercial solutions, to fill urgent gaps
Coordinate actions within SSC/USSF HQs to expedite and enhance operational employment of SSC capabilities
Support Joint Urgent/Emergent Operational Needs process
Advise CCMDs, SSC and other stakeholders on the USSF Urgent Operational Needs process and criteria
Support development of technical solutions and Quick Reaction Capabilities to rapidly respond to ongoing operational gaps
Support CCMD staffs and operational units in Assessment of Operational Utility
Support CCMDs and HQ USSF in dispositioning requirement success/failure/extension
Maintain cognizance of the Joint Operational Environment, with focus on USSF ongoing & emerging operations
Maintain awareness of current operations, including limitations and successes
Participate in wargames and exercises
Understand CCMD Operations Plans
Review multi-source, complex technical intelligence products
Understand current national, DoD, CCMD, and USSF strategies, policies and guidance
What you will need:
TS Clearance with SCI eligibility, SAP eligible
Familiarity with DoD, civil, commercial, and international space and cyber capabilities, and architectures
Space Analysis, Policy, Planning, or equivalent experience/responsibility
Experience supporting Service HQ or DoD Agency or IC staffs
Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, oral presentation and executive writing skills
Excellent writing and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
BS, MS (preferred) in Technical Field
Former 13S or 62E/63A with space acquisitions/operations experience.
Urgent Operational Need/Joint Urgent Operational Need process experience/familiarity
SSC acquisition experience
Familiarity with Defense Space and National Security Space in the areas of strategy, requirements, capabilities, architectures, programs, acquisition, and operations
Experience supporting CCMDs, OSD, Service HQ or DoD Agency or IC staffs
Experience with DoD, USSF, USAF, NRO, USDI,
USSF staff, SpOC, USSPACECOM experience within the past 3 years
Joint knowledge and understanding of CCMD organizations
Program/project management experience
