Our Warehouse Technician maintains our warehouse inventory, ensures the organization of the warehouse, and helps load and unload delivery and installation crew vehicles. The Warehouse Technician will follow and maintain a manifest to prepare and stage orders for crews to be picked up the following day.
Core Role Responsibilities
Reviews manifest and cross references against upcoming installation projects
Gathers windows, allied materials and special-order material by customer project
Unloads/loads delivery and service trucks
Ensures organization of warehouse and cage
Delivers items/materials to job sites as needed
Performs simple services as needed (screen installation, screen repair, etc.)
Basic Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
1+ years of work experience in warehouse environment
Ability to lift 75+ pounds
Valid driver's license and the ability to meet company insurance requirements
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Preferred Requirements
Experience reviewing manifests is a plus
Demonstrated experience performing simple maintenance on home-improvement related projects
Previous customer service experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to learn new software programs and perform basic inventory entry
