About The Role:

We are SKUTOPIA - our mission is to shake up the logistics industry by creating warehouse environments with a difference. We use advanced robotics to power our pick-and-pack operations, while building a workplace that’s lively, fun, slick and supportive.

We’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor with strong people skills who knows how to bring out the best in their team, creating an inclusive environment where people can thrive feeling supported and valued. Initially this role will primarily be conducted within normal business hours but will also be required to accommodate evening shifts as required during seasonal busy periods.

In this role you will:

Provide effective team leadership: lead and motivate a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
Provide operational oversight: supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity.
Maintain a focus on quality: ensure that all products are handled, stored, and shipped in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Be a health & safety champion: promote and enforce health and safety procedures to create a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety checks and report any issues promptly.
Assist in Fulfilment Centre Operations: collaborate with other departments to assist in the overall running of the fulfilment centre, ensuring all operational needs are met.
Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and engage relevant internal and external stakeholders as required.
Contribute to process improvement: you will proactively work with Operations Excellence to identify opportunities for process improvement within the warehouse and contribute ideas to enhance overall efficiency and quality of service.
Build team culture by suggesting improvements as we grow and being an ambassador for living the company values.

We think you will need:

Experience in team supervision, ideally in a warehouse but can also have been in retail, hospitality etc.
Working with people and coaching them is what you enjoy most about your role.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. You don’t shy away from engaging others, even if it is communicating challenges and problems to solve.
Proactivity in constantly improving our surroundings, team and culture.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
