Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, check merchandise, and verify the correctness of the shipments against the purchase order.
  • Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. Record shipment data, including weight and dimensions.
  • Receive and unpack materials/supplies.
  • Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Set up laptops, workstations, and tablets for imaging. Repackage computers into original boxes.
  • Break down excess packaging material and sort for disposal (recycling or trash).
  • Prepare shipments for return to vendors or delivery to the recipient.
  • Performs inventory, staging, packing, storage, and shipping of electronic equipment and related material.
  • Operates motor vehicles and material handling equipment.
  • Responsible for the utilization of the computer-based inventory and bar-coding system for entry, identification, and tracking of material.
  • Assists in the material handling of assets during the integration phase of the RIIKS process.
  • Assists in receiving assets into the CMPro database for inventory purposes.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years of warehouse experience, to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage, and shipping of electronic equipment and related material; operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment; and utilizing a computer-based inventory and barcoding system for entry, identification, and tracking of material.
  • Active Secret Clearance walking through the door
