Warehouse Operator

The primary purpose of this position is to load, unload, and warehouse product to ensure 100% customer satisfaction with both internal and external customers.

Hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm. 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Unload incoming raw materials arriving by truck.
  • Take samples of all incoming super sack raw materials.
  • Load outbound van loads of finished goods.
  • Line up common carriers shipments.
  • Product labeling with Infor generated product ID labels.
  • Make sure all paperwork is filled out and properly entered in the Infor system.
  • Maintain neat and clean warehouse at all times.
  • Complete all web-based training before the due date.
  • Provide double check of product appearance and labeling before shipping to customer.
  • Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers
  • Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
  • Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as required. Review changes/additions with your supervisor. Must be RCRA compliant.
  • Maintain a customer oriented, professional attitude at all times.
  • Maintain “Good Housekeeping” practices throughout the facility.
  • Recommend changes in SOPP’s and process equipment where greater efficiency can be achieved.
  • Responsible for compliance to all corporate and governmental regulations regarding safety and environmental issues.
  • Works with other staff members to maintain workload balances. Provides back-up support, as necessary.
  • Supports effective communication with all Hydrite departments where responsibilities overlap to ensure success of the branch team.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to operate a forklift, previous experience required.
  • Ability to operate tractor/trailer on Hydrite property.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
  • During the pre-employment process, you will be required to complete a drug screening.
