Role

Job Title: Warehouse Operative

The Warehouse Operative supports the day‑to‑day running of warehouse and yard activities across ATC’s Frankfurt site. This role helps ensure smooth operations by handling goods safely, keeping work areas organised, and supporting timely loading, unloading, and storage of materials. The Warehouse Operative plays an important part in maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and service delivery, including readiness for cross‑docking and rack storage tasks.

Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and wider operations team, the Operative helps maintain clear processes, accurate stock movements, and strong teamwork across all logistics functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily, weekly and monthly warehouse activities, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and on time. 
  • Assist with basic KPI reporting for your work area as required. 
  • Ensure all equipment (ramps, EPTs, tools, etc.) is used correctly and report any issues or damage immediately. 
  • Carry out warehouse tasks in a structured and organised way to meet changing customer needs and operational demands. 
  • Travel to other ATC sites when required to support operations or help prepare for customer audits. 
  • Work with the H&S team to maintain the highest standards of health, safety and security within the warehouse and yard. 
  • Work with the planning team for reporting on what trailers are in the yard & also liaising with planning team if required equipment is needed on a specific vehicle.  
  • Shunt trailers within the yard to ensure the area remains clear, safe and accessible for all vehicles. 
  • Help prepare the warehouse and yard for internal and external audits including TAPA, ISO, and customer audits.

Candidate Requirements

The role requires flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and customer requirements, so the candidate must be comfortable working under pressure and on strict timelines. The candidate must be adaptable while performing tasks, ready to change priorities and maintain professional communications with clients, colleagues and vendors. The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate the following:

  • Experience supporting receiving and dispatching procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Ability to check inventory and shipment records to ensure all transactions are accurate.
  • Able to work closely with the Planning Team to confirm that all vehicles on site are correctly logged and accounted for.
  • Strong attention to detail to make sure the correct quantities of equipment are loaded or collected for each delivery.
  • Commitment to following all safety procedures when operating forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse machinery..
  • Language proficiency: B2 level in English and A2 level in the country of employment.

The following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage:

    • A working knowledge of a European language. 
    • Experience of MS SharePoint in a corporate environment. 
    • Forklift Licence 
    • Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) experience  
    • Shunting certification  
    • Inventory Management
