As Warehouse Operations Manager, you will take ownership of a large scale warehouse operation with ~50 FTEs, structured across shift leaders, process optimization roles, forklift drivers, and operational staff. This is a mix of operational and management role – hands on, visible, and influential. You will balance daily execution with long term optimization, KPIs and cost control with service excellence. Expect complexity, leadership exposure, decision making power, and real influence across operations, stakeholders, and partners. What You'll Do:
  • Lead and coordinate end to end warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, distribution) to meet customer requirements in a cost effective and timely manner
  • Manage and develop a multi layered workforce (Team/Shift Leaders and operational staff), including recruitment, performance management, engagement, and career development
  • Act as a hands-on operational leader, ensuring daily execution aligns with defined standards, procedures, and productivity targets
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization, using data and KPIs to enhance efficiency, quality, and service levels
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (volumes, productivity, capacity, resource utilization)
  • Forecast staffing and capacity needs in line with customer demand and business objectives
  • Own and control the warehouse budget, monitoring cost trends, deviations, and operational impact
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through controls, audits, and system discipline
  • Guarantee on time order fulfillment and efficient inbound/outbound logistics flows
  • Define standards for the use, maintenance, and performance of warehouse equipment and systems
  • Promote a safety first culture, ensuring asset protection, warehouse security, and compliance
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to optimize product flows and operational performance
  • Ensure full compliance with QSHE regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies
  • What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, ideally in medium to large scale environments
  • Proven track record in leading teams, driving performance, and managing operational complexity
  • Previous exposure to process optimization, KPI tracking, budgeting, and cost control
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management systems and tools, ideally including in house platforms and exposure to system implementations
  • Experienced Excel user
  • Experience working with 3PL models, subcontractors, and external partners
  • Dynamic leadership style with the ability to motivate, influence, and engage teams at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills backed by fluency in English to collaborate effectively
  • Confident handling pressure, conflict, and fast changing operational environments
