The work

As an Warehouse Modernization Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing modernization strategies within the warehouse environment. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise in warehousing, supply chain management, IOT, RFID, and agile delivery to streamline processes and improve efficiency. You will be tasked with designing and implementing new processes, as well as overseeing the installation of hardware and networking systems to support these initiatives. In order to excel in this role, candidates should have a strong background in process design and a deep understanding of modernization technologies. Experience with and RFID systems will be highly beneficial, as well as a proven track record of successful project delivery in an agile environment. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

Work onsite with warehouse operations suppl chain, and IT teams to assess current-state warehouse processes and systems
Lead warehouse modernization initiatives
Design and document future-state warehouse processes aligned with business goals and SAP best practices
Configure and support warehouse solutions
Collaborate with technical teams on system integrations
Facilitate onsite workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution design reviews
Support testing activities and resolve defects
Provide onsite training and management support for warehouse users
Assist with cutover planning, go-live support, and post-go-live stabilization

Here’s what you need:

3+ years of Warehouse Modernization experience
Experience supporting or leading warehouse modernization or migration projects
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes
Experience facilitating onsite training sessions

Nice to have:

Experience with Agile methodology
Internet of Things (IoT)
Prior consulting experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field

Eligibility Requirements:

Ability to travel 50% to Corpus Christie and Red River, TX US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust government clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
