Warehouse Manager

What You’ll Do:

  1. Staff Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team by training and rostering staff, ensuring they are up to date with licenses and trained in safety procedures. Monitor performance, facilitate weekly meetings, and approve leave requests while representing the team in Health & Safety committees.
  1. Warehouse and Inventory Management: Oversee efficient stock rotation and allergen-based storage, maintain raw material supply, and monitor stock levels. Manage inward goods and 3PL Warehouse materials, ensure accurate location management, and maintain a clean, pest-free environment.
  1. Health & Safety: Champion Health & Safety procedures by raising maintenance concerns and incident reports promptly. Ensure staff are correctly uniformed with approved PPE and continuously review processes for improvements.
  1. General: Collaborate with internal customers to identify opportunities and develop Warehouse SOPs. Attend meetings, maintain knowledge of Warehouse databases, and manage the quality and inventory levels of assets, raising concerns and maintenance requests as needed.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A degree and/or trade qualification(s) in Operations, Engineering, Trades, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager (3+ or more years is desirable)
  • Experience as a member of a manufacturing site leadership team
  • Proven experience in managing a warehouse in FMCG sector  
  • A solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
  • The ability to analyse and process high volumes of data and documentation, on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Other related certifications for manufacturing i.e. First Aid etc.
