We are looking for a Warehouse Administrator to support the inventory and stock management processes with one of the biggest names in UK Travel - Avanti Trains. This role combines warehouse knowledge with administrative accuracy to ensure efficient operations and reliable reporting. As a Warehouse Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that catering and goods arrive with our train clients on time, in-line with various scheduling requirements.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Confident with numbers, spreadsheets, and data entry.
  • IT proficiency, particularly Excel and warehouse systems.
  • Problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Team player, able to collaborate with warehouse and logistics staff.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain accurate stock records and carry out data entry in warehouse systems.
  • Perform cycle counts, audits, and stock reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Use Excel, WMS, SAP or similar tools for reporting and tracking.
  • Communicate with operations, suppliers, and management regarding stock status.
  • Support warehouse teams with stock rotation and organization.
  • Ensure compliance with handling and storage procedures.
  • Be comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including limited exposure to chilled environments (PPE Provided)

Requirements

  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Must be able to use a computer, Excel and communication of English.
  • Ability to demonstrate our core values.
  • Must hold a valid Passport.
  • Proof of National Insurance.
  • Proof of (current) Address.
  • Basic numeracy skills.
  • Basic Checking skills.

Benefits

  • Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour
  • Location: Wolverhampton, Oxley
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 07:00 am to 14:30 pm
  • Weekly Pay (every Friday)
  • Full training provided
  • Immediate Start!
  • Temp to Perm (performance-based)
