WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Vice President, Specialty Operations – Evive is responsible for leading and enabling a high‑performing service organization while ensuring strong execution, alignment, and delivery of bswift and evive solutions across the enterprise. This role plays a critical part in bringing together Product, Implementation, Client Services, Sales, and operational teams to ensure clients experience a cohesive, well‑orchestrated solution.

This position balances operational leadership and strategic ownership, helping the organization move work forward, elevate how solutions are delivered, and ensure teams are equipped to support and represent our offerings with confidence.


WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (Essential Functions)

  • Lead and manage the overall health of a portfolio of clients, ensuring strong retention, satisfaction, and long‑term partnerships
  • Provide enterprise‑level ownership and coordination to ensure evive is consistently delivered and supported across client solutions
  • Serve as a key cross‑functional partner to Product, Implementation, Client Services, Sales, and offshore teams to drive alignment and execution
  • Enable Client Services teams through education, guidance, and support related to evive Core and Pro offerings, positioning, and client messaging
  • Lead governance for overall client relationships while ensuring expectations are clearly defined, communicated, and met
  • Build and maintain strong executive‑level client relationships through ongoing governance and direct engagement, as needed
  • Participate in client stewardship meetings and sales discussions to represent the solution, support adoption, and identify growth opportunities
  • Continuously evaluate and refine operational practices to improve service delivery, scalability, and consistency
  • Forecast and manage staffing levels and associated expenses to ensure operational efficiency
  • Hire, develop, and retain high‑performing team members who reflect and reinforce bswift’s core values
  • Set clear expectations and lead the team to achieve individual, team, and company goals
  • Actively participate as a member of the Sales & Service Leadership Team
  • Support product development, solution feedback, and quality initiatives through close partnership with internal teams
  • Assist with client retention and growth initiatives, as required

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Required Education and Experience)

  • 10+ years of experience managing client relationships or service delivery organizations within benefits administration, healthcare, or related technology environments
  • Strong experience working cross‑functionally to drive execution and results
  • Proven operational leadership skills with the ability to balance strategy and hands‑on problem solving
  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Implementation, and Client Services teams
  • Strong people leadership and team development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and equip others to solve complex problems efficiently
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering high‑quality client experiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the work week, including weekends when required
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Education and Experience)

  • Experience operating within a Center of Excellence or shared services model
  • Background supporting product rollouts, solution integrations, or technology‑enabled services
  • Experience partnering with sales organizations to support solution positioning and growth
  • Experience serving on executive or senior leadership teams

Specific benefit offerings vary by position and may be subject to change.

 

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description. 

 

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $150,000-$180,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
