Serigraph is seeking a Vice President of Technology and Product Development to drive growth by leading teams that get to yes on performance, cost, and timing. This role partners across Sales and Operations to deliver innovative, high-quality, and manufacturable solutions for our customers. Responsibilities:
  • Develops a collaborative, adaptable team ready to navigate the demands of our customers and our business needs, ensuring resilience and responsiveness.
  • Negotiates with internal and external partners to agree upon project cost, performance, and timing, resulting in customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Provides leadership and oversight across New Product Launch, Project Management, Estimating, Technical Subject Matter Experts, Application and Manufacturing Engineering, Prototype and Quality to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Sets and manages to operational KPIs that align with divisional objectives. Leads and coaches problem solving to drive sustainable results. 
  • Ensures customer requirements during launch (including material specs and delivery dates) are achieved on time, at the highest level of quality.
  • Joins forces with Sales to sculpt the future of our offerings, blending innovation with practicality to meet future needs.
  • Guides and unites our teams, fostering a culture of engagement and seamless communication that transcends boundaries.
  • Delivers for both internal customers – Sales and Operations. Partners with both to sure their needs are being met.
  • Works with Operations to create and execute manufacturing verification test plans to ensure manufacturability and testability for new program introduction.
  • Guides the team to develop and document standard manufacturing methods, processes, and material choices to enable consistent execution.
  • Analyzes recurring quality, delivery, and cost issues to identify systemic gaps and improvement opportunities. Identifies waste and drives reduction through continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring standards are updated every step of the way. 
  • Acts as Executive Sponsor of our Quality Management System to ensure compliance with IATF and other regulatory requirements.
  • Attends tradeshows and continues to monitor the technological market to identify customer needs, anticipate competitive actions, and identify changes. 
  • Ensures quality throughout our processes and stops the process to correct quality concerns. 
  • Ensures all environmental practices are followed and materials are handled and disposed of per appropriate procedures within the area.
  • Supports Serigraph’s current quality business system and understand use of SPECS, the Serigraph quality manual.
  • What we are looking for:
  • Strong business acumen, financial, and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound business judgements as it relates to capital justification and investment ROI.
  • Experience applying or implementing lean manufacturing, kaizen methodology and production systems.  Knowledge and experience implementing LEAN/TPS principles.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to facilitate effective team interactions.
  • Evidence of building strong teams.
  • Ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders including Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR.
  • Driver’s License and/or Passport for business-related travel.
  • Knowledge of good departmental and company safety/housekeeping/PPE practices.
  • Understand departmental procedures and policies.
  • Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent. 
  • Ten years of previous operations management, engineering, or technical project management experience, with progressive growth track record.
  • Experience operating within EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
