This position is responsible for aligning the technology vision with the Multi-Family business unit strategy by integrating company processes with the appropriate technologies. Oversees software development operations, ensures integration with the enterprise technology partners with tight engagement model and drives timely, cost effective delivery of complex product portfolios that align to the Multi Family business priorities. Maintains existing systems and develops vision for new innovations and strategic initiatives in all technology related issues in support of information operations and core company values. Provide thought leadership and help to set the overall technical direction and strategies for the business.

The VP, Multifamily Technology and CSPi role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Collaborates directly with the executive management team and decision makers in the Multi-Family business unit, Multi-Family Operations and other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
- Develops technical aspects of the business unit's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals. Interface with corporate and business unit leaders to communicate IT application development strategies/plans and gain collaborative support.
- Oversees application development operations and drives timely, cost effective delivery of complex product portfolios. Removes obstacles, closes gaps and manages and mitigates risks to ensure delivery on time, on budget and at the highest levels of quality.
- Drives innovation in application development standards, tools and processes
- Partnering with COO Technology Partners, guides the discovery and implementation of new technologies that yield competitive advantage and IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations.
- Partnering with Enterprise Resilience division, provides for efficient disaster recovery and resiliency planning. Ensures effective maintenance of technical specifications and documentation to ensure process continuity and prevent system failure. Ensures hardware and software is maintained and data is secured through proper back-ups and staff training.
- Stays at the forefront of information and technology developments affecting the business unit to increase innovation, enhance efficiency, and provide for new business opportunities.
- Drives internal methodology and process improvements designed to shape the application development organization into a world class team utilizing best in class practices and technologies.
- Ensures high quality talent, bench strength and succession planning through best practices in recruiting, selection, training, developing and retaining IT professional staff.
- Multi Family Technology point of contact for technology related matters to enhance the overall customer engagement experience.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Education Level (Required)
- Bachelor of Science degree in technical area (i. e. engineering, computer science)
Experience (Primary)
- At least 12 years of professional experience (and at least 10 years of management experience); Extensive experience leading agile development team and implementing scaled agile practices
Experience (Secondary)
- Experience implementing solutions on the public cloud; Experience leading digital transformation initiatives; Experience using change management methods to rollout enterprise technology changes
Skills (Primary)
- Strong influencer and capable of driving alignment across multiple stakeholders
