We are seeking a Vice President, Business Development, to join our growing Technology Business Unit at Bounteous. This role is responsible for leveraging deep experience selling complex digital, data, cloud, and engineering services to technology-focused organizations, including software, platform, and high-growth technology companies. As a senior sales leader, the Vice President of Business Development will position Bounteous’ capabilities across digital product engineering, cloud modernization, data and analytics, AI, and enterprise technology delivery to solve critical business and technical challenges for sophisticated technology buyers.
Information Security Responsibilities
Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Role & Responsibilities
Directly qualify, develop, and close complex opportunities driving $5MM in annual new business revenue with $15MM or more in total contract value
Own strategic new logo acquisition and expansion within technology-focused accounts
Partner closely with Marketing, Business Development Representatives, and Client Service leadership to drive coordinated prospecting and pipeline generation
Conduct research into target technology organizations to understand business models, technical ecosystems, buying triggers, and decision-making structures
Build trusted relationships with C-level, VP, and SVP stakeholders across engineering, product, data, cloud, and technology leadership
Develop differentiated win strategies in collaboration with solution architects, competency leads, and delivery partners
Lead the creation and delivery of compelling proposals and executive presentations that clearly articulate Bounteous’ value proposition
Support sales revenue forecasting, resource and staffing planning, and annual budgeting processes
Maintain disciplined deal qualification, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy aligned with growth targets
Preferred Qualifications
10 or more years of experience successfully closing strategic deals of $3MM or more in annual revenue within a systems integrator, digital consultancy, or technology services firm
5 or more years of experience selling to technology organizations, including software, platform, or tech-enabled enterprises
Demonstrated success selling complex services such as digital product engineering, cloud and platform modernization, data and analytics, AI, and enterprise systems integration
Outstanding executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior technical and business leaders
Strong discovery and listening skills with the ability to uncover implicit client needs and develop effective win strategies
Exceptional written communication skills with experience crafting high-quality proposals and sales materials
Proven ability to collaborate across solution, delivery, and partner teams to close large, complex deals
