As Vice President, you will lead the launch and growth of our Behavioral Health Staffing division, owning both client strategy and recruiting execution. You will be responsible for developing the Go-to-Market plan, winning early clients, and building a scalable recruiting engine to attract and engage licensed behavioral health professionals in a competitive, locally driven talent market. This role requires a hands-on operator with a strong grasp of behavioral health workforce dynamics and a proven ability to build pipelines, drive growth, and lead teams.

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Strategic Leadership  

  • Develop and execute the business plan for the Behavioral Health Staffing Division, including go-to-market strategies and sales goals.  
  • Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding the client base, and positioning the division as a leader in behavioral health staffing.  
  • Establish short- and long-term goals that align with the company’s overall strategic vision.  


 

Business Development & Sales  

  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across our client base and lead sales efforts to secure new staffing contracts with healthcare providers.  
  • Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for the division.  

 


Recruiting & Candidate Acquisition
 

  • Build a scalable recruiting engine and team with clear pipeline, submittal, and start targets.  
  • Implement AI-centric recruiting workflows for sourcing, outreach, screening, matching, and pipeline management to drive max efficiency per recruiter 
  • Partner with marketing to define and execute candidate acquisition strategy for priority behavioral health roles.  
  • Continuously refine sourcing channels and process based on performance and market signals. 

 

Team Leadership  

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of recruiters, account managers, and support staff dedicated to behavioral health staffing.  
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture that aligns with the company’s values and goals.  
  • Ensure that the team is delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates.  


 

Operational Excellence  

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the division, including staffing placements, client management, and quality assurance.  
  • Collaborate with other departments, including HR, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of services.  
  • Monitor market trends and client needs to adapt strategies and service offerings.  


 

Requirements: 

  • 7+ years of experience in behavioral health staffing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.  
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and growing a division or business unit.  
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health ecosystem 
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.  
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to secure and maintain large contracts.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.  
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, KPI-driven environment.  
  • Bachelors degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Salary: 

  • $125,000 - $140,000, based on experience.  
  • Commission eligible with annual bonus opportunity tied to achievement against budget.
