Voice Recording Project (Bahasa Malaysia - English)

We’re recruiting Malaysians who speak Bahasa Malaysia and English to contribute to a fast-moving project related to training AI solutions for the financial industry. This is a short-term assignment, and we’re looking for people who can jump in quickly to record short snippets of audio.

This project aims to capture authentic banking conversations to train AI to understand how Malaysians speak.

Personal Data Safety and Confidentiality

Your conversations will be recorded, anonymized, and used exclusively to train AI models that serve the financial industry. Conversation topics are product-focused, and any sensitive information will be redacted before being used for AI training purposes.

Requirements

What will I be doing?

• Record short, clear audios (~2-30 seconds per recording) in Bahasa Malaysia or English (Malaysian accent).
• Follow the assigned call scripts, adapting them to your tone of voice and common colloquial terms.
• Record banking-related scenarios such as fund transfers, DuitNow, transaction history enquiries, savings pockets, loans, and mortgage payments.
• Upload recordings through the app provided after registration.
• Review and correct automated speech-to-text transcriptions where needed.
• Complete your assigned script package within 48 hours of receiving it.
• Record in varied environments (e.g. home, café, car, outdoors).
• Maintain confidentiality and data privacy throughout the project.
• Communicate proactively with the Project Manager regarding questions or issues.

What will I need for the project?

• Ability to speak Bahasa Malaysia and English comfortably (authentic Malaysian accents are highly valued).
• We actively seek representation from different Malaysian voices across race, gender, age, accents, and speakingstyles. Your unique way of speaking is exactly what makes this project valuable.
• Willingness to read and follow project guidelines and audio recording SOPs.
• Confidence handling short audio recordings.
• A mobile device with a microphone suitable for recording.
• Ability to complete tasks within the required timeline (48 hours per assigned script package).

• Schedule: Flexible; recordings can be completed at any time, provided deadlines are met
• Participation: Only serious applications will be considered. Each contributor is expected to complete their assigned script package in full.
