The Opportunity

As a Lead Solutions Integration Engineer, you will step into a high-ownership role where you directly shape how AI is deployed and scaled across real-world businesses. You will work closely with the CTO and a senior engineering team, defining integration architecture, delivery approaches, and technical standards in a growing AI startup. This role lets you combine deep backend engineering with strategic, stakeholder-facing work, building integrations that are central to customers’ revenue operations and how large accounts and partners adopt AI at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Own end‑to‑end integration delivery: scope, design, build, test, and deploy integrations that meet business requirements and production‑ready standards

  • Support the CTO in running the integration process: gather requirements, structure tasks, manage execution, and deliver projects on schedule

  • Design integration solutions: architect flows using Python, REST, gRPC, Kafka, Redis, Postman, and SQL; document with UML, DFD, ERD, and BRD

  • Control project execution daily: plan sprints, track progress, remove blockers, and find workarounds to keep delivery on track

  • Manage stakeholders and scope: communicate clearly, align priorities, and prevent scope creep

  • Drive Agile/Scrum for integrations: run ceremonies, manage backlogs in YouTrack, and report status

  • Monitor and stabilize production: use Grafana and observability tools to ensure integrations stay reliable and performant

  • Take full responsibility for deadlines: deliver on time, every time, by being resourceful and persistent under pressure

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience

  • 2+ years in project management or account-facing roles where you owned delivery

  • Strong technical toolkit including Python, REST, gRPC, UML, BRD, DFD, ERD, Postman, GAP analysis, CJM, SQL, Apache Kafka, and Redis

  • Background as an acting or former backend engineer

  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum processes and tools like YouTrack and Grafana

  • Proven stakeholder management and scope-control skills

  • Strong communication and time-management skills, consistently delivering results under tight deadlines and pressure

  • English language B2+ (both writing and speaking)

  • Fluency in Russian language

  • PMI, PMP, PSM, and PSPO certifications are a plus
