As a Visual Designer at Mendix, you will be a part of the Brand Team that is responsible for driving our brand identity and creative voice across our global marketing assets and internal company communications. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with different functions of marketing to create compelling visuals that tell our brand story. Your work will span a breadth of deliverables including print, digital and trade show assets to name a few.
This position is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
- Captivate our audience with design that elevates visual appearance and ensures brand coherence
- Work within our brand guidelines to create layouts that promote Mendix style and voice through visual touch points
- Take direction from our Creative Director and Art Directors on a variety of projects, and demonstrate your value by contributing to team discussions around vision, ideation, design, and execution
- Earn a respected place within a small, high-performing, high-impact team by producing quality work quickly
- Work closely with Product, Product Marketing, and Digital Marketing teams
Requirements:
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field or relevant experience
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for detail, typography, layout, and composition across both digital and print
- Experience designing campaigns and digital experiences
- The ability to create visual designs across a wide range of assets
- Solid presentation design skills
- Exceptional skills in the Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Someone who is highly collaborative and works well cross-functionally
- Strong communication skills, and a desire for building consistent, quality work is a must
